Horchata — the creamy, vanilla-and-cinnamon rice drink — is Taco Bell's latest café experiment: four horchata-inspired drinks launched October 15, 2026 at the Live Más Café locations in Southern California, Houston, Dallas and Las Vegas. The four drinks, priced

The prices are the press release's: Purple Horchata Chiller small $4.19 / medium $4.59; Chocolate Horchata Cold Brew Float small $4.79 / medium $5.29; both Refrescas medium $4.19 / large $4.59. What they taste like

Tasting Table's review of all four (October 2026) calls the classic horchata flavours — vanilla and cinnamon — prominent in every drink except the Purple Horchata Chiller, which carries the lightest horchata flavour and still "comes across as a delicious treat". The two favourites are the Refrescas: the Strawberry Horchata Refresca and the Vanilla Spiced Horchata Refresca, with the Vanilla Spiced described as tasting like classic horchata. Parade's taste test agrees — the Refrescas are the standouts, and the Vanilla Spiced is the one to order if you want horchata rather than a horchata idea.

December 10: what goes nationwide

Three drinks go to all Taco Bell restaurants nationwide on Thursday, December 10, for a limited time: the Strawberry Horchata Refresca, the Vanilla Spiced Horchata Refresca, and a new drink that was not part of the café lineup — the Vanilla Spiced Horchata Freeze. The Purple Horchata Chiller and the Chocolate Horchata Cold Brew Float stay at the Live Más Cafés. Where the cafés are

The Live Más Cafés operate inside select Taco Bell restaurants — 39 locations at the horchata launch, across Southern California, Houston, Dallas and Las Vegas — with handcrafted beverages made to order by "Bellristas".
