In late July 2026 Taco Bell quietly tested a Fan Favorites Menu — five items, in select Midwest markets. By late October 2026 the test was over: the section is gone from the test stores' menus. This is the record of what it was, and what happened to each item.

What the test was

The Fan Favorites Menu launched at the end of July 2026 with five items, in select Midwest markets including Mentor (Ohio), Charlotte (Michigan) and Dayton (Ohio). The idea was a fan-voted value tier: returning and requested items, priced low, sold only where the test ran.

The five items — and what happened to each

Test-era prices are sampled from the test stores' delivery listings; prices vary by location.

How we know the test ended

A fresh read of the DoorDash menus for Taco Bell Mentor, Ohio and Taco Bell Charlotte, Michigan on 28 October 2026 shows no "Fan Favorites Menu" section at either store — the sections are Most Ordered, Limited Time Offers, Cantina Chicken Menu, Combos and the rest, with no Fan Favorites grouping. Older search-index snapshots (crawled roughly six weeks earlier) still showed the section at all three test stores. The test ran July to October 2026.

The one survivor: the Chili Cheese Burrito

The Chili Cheese Burrito outlived the test. It is still listed as a limited-time offer at Charlotte, Michigan ($3.71 on DoorDash, 28 October 2026) and on the Luxe Value Menu, and it went national on the Y2K Decades menu ($2.99, per the Taco Bell newsroom listing) and the Luxe Value Menu. The other four items have not appeared nationally — for now, the test's only lasting product is the burrito.

About this guide's data

Every figure in this guide comes from one dataset: sampled Taco Bell prices and published nutrition, compiled and verified in October 2026 (prices are re-checked monthly, and every data page carries its verification stamp). Rankings state their rule in the open and are computed from those rows — never voted on, never estimated. Where a value is missing it is shown as missing, and each named item links to its own page, where the full label, allergen record and sampled price range can be checked. Prices vary by location; nutrition values are the published figures for the standard build.
