Most Golden Corral locations are open on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026, typically 11 AM–7 PM. The hours vary by franchise: some locations close as early as 4 PM, and busy locations may run to 8 PM — confirm locally before you go. There is no breakfast service on Thanksgiving Day (the 11 AM opening means the breakfast buffet does not run that day; breakfast returns on its normal Friday–Sunday schedule). No reservations — seating is first-come, first-served — but groups of around 20 or more should call ahead to arrange group seating. One tip from the chain's own guidance: arrive before 11:30 AM or after 4:30 PM to avoid the longest waits.

What's on the Thanksgiving buffet

One price covers the whole day — lunch and dinner are the same holiday buffet, not separate meals. The Holiday Feast to-go programme sells whole cooked meals serving 6–8 people, ordered through the Golden Corral app or website, ready-to-eat or heat-and-serve. Each meal is one centrepiece protein plus mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, one additional side of your choice and a dozen signature yeast rolls, plus a whole pie (pumpkin, apple or pecan). One location's own listing gives the turkey meal in full: a 10–14 lb roasted turkey, 2 quarts of mashed potatoes with gravy, 1 quart of stuffing, 1 pint of cranberry sauce, a side of your choice (corn, green beans, mac & cheese, carrots, sweet potato casserole or broccoli), yeast rolls and a pumpkin or apple pie. The proteins are Whole Roasted Turkey, Holiday Glazed Ham and Bone-In Pork Roast.

Price: $119.99–$139.99 for a Holiday Meal To-Go (serves 6–8), by protein and by location. No single national turkey price is published — the turkey meal is reported at $119.99 at some locations and $129.99 at others — so the range is the honest figure. Order at least 72 hours before pick-up, and note the final deadline: November 23. Busy locations sell out of turkey meals a week or more before Thanksgiving, so order in early November. Rewards members get $10 off Holiday Feast orders placed through the app by November 1 (offer valid October 5 – November 1, 2026). One caution: there are no gluten-free or nut-free guarantees — the kitchen is shared.

Thanksgiving week

Black Friday (Friday, November 27, 2026) returns to regular hours. The Holiday Bonus Gift Cards offer runs alongside: buy $50 in gift cards and get a $10 bonus card free, October 20, 2026 to early January 2027, with the bonus redeemable January 6 – February 15, 2027.
