Taco Bell Tajín Collaboration: What Happened
Taco Bell's Tajín × Peso Pluma collaboration launched nationwide on August 13, 2026 as a limited-time offer, with no end date ever announced — and then, without a farewell announcement, all three items disappeared. By October 25, 2026, every one of the three items' official tacobell.com pages displayed "This item is not currently available", with a $0.00 price, 0 calories and the order button disabled, and a menu search for "Tajín" returned no suggestions. The collaboration ran roughly August to October 2026; the exact removal date was never announced, and the last hard evidence of availability is Taco Bell's allergen information dated September 2, 2026, which still lists the items.

The three items, and their launch record
| Item | Launch price | Calories | Allergens (launch record) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tajín Taco | $2.99 suggested | 210 Cal | Milk, Eggs, Soy |
| Tajín Cheesy Gordita Crunch | $5.99 suggested | 460 Cal | Eggs, Milk, Soy |
| Tajín Pineapple Strawberry Freeze | $3.99 (16 oz) / $4.19 (20 oz) suggested | 180 Cal (16 oz) / 220 Cal (20 oz) | None recorded |
The Taco was a crunchy shell seasoned with Tajín, filled with seasoned beef, Spicy Ranch, lettuce, shredded cheese and mango salsa (tomatoes, mango, onions, cilantro), served with a Tajín Clásico packet. The Gordita Crunch layered the same seasoning onto the Cheesy Gordita Crunch build. The Freeze was a pineapple frozen slushy blended with strawberry syrup and Tajín. Prices above are the launch suggested prices (Taco Bell newsroom, August 12, 2026, plus launch reporting); what stores actually charged varied — reviewers paid $2.89 for the Taco, and one delivery listing showed $3.65. For the Freeze, only the 16 oz panel is complete (180 Cal, 47g sugars); the 20 oz figure is calories only (220 Cal) — the other 20 oz values were never published and are not scaled from the 16 oz numbers here.
Why there is no live page for the Taco or the Freeze
Some menu sites still list these items as if they were orderable — one clone site even lists the Taco at 200 calories, against the official 210 — but the official pages say otherwise, and the official pages are the evidence that counts. The Taco and the Freeze have no live item page on this site because they are not live items; their record lives here, labelled historical, alongside the Gordita Crunch item page, which already carries the expired framing. The regular Cheesy Gordita Crunch is a different item and was still live at $5.79 / 480 Cal at the October 25 check.
Could the collaboration come back?
No return has been announced as of October 31, 2026. Limited-time collaborations sometimes return, and sometimes do not; this page will be updated if Taco Bell announces a Tajín return, and until then the honest status is discontinued, not "coming soon".
About this guide's data
Every figure in this guide comes from one dataset: sampled Taco Bell prices and published nutrition, compiled and verified in October 2026 (prices are re-checked monthly, and every data page carries its verification stamp). Rankings state their rule in the open and are computed from those rows — never voted on, never estimated. Where a value is missing it is shown as missing, and each named item links to its own page, where the full label, allergen record and sampled price range can be checked. Prices vary by location; nutrition values are the published figures for the standard build.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Tajín Taco still available at Taco Bell?
No. Its official page showed 'not currently available' on October 25, 2026, and no return has been announced.
When did the Tajín collaboration end?
No end date was announced. The items were still in Taco Bell's September 2, 2026 allergen information and gone by the October 25, 2026 check — so the removal falls somewhere in between.
How much was the Tajín Taco?
$2.99 suggested at launch (August 13, 2026). That is a historical price; the item is no longer sold.
How many calories were in the Tajín items?
Tajín Taco 210 Cal; Tajín Cheesy Gordita Crunch 460 Cal; Tajín Pineapple Strawberry Freeze 180 Cal (16 oz) / 220 Cal (20 oz) — all launch-record figures for discontinued items.
Is the regular Cheesy Gordita Crunch the same as the Tajín one?
No. The regular Cheesy Gordita Crunch is a separate, still-sold item (listed at $5.79 / 480 Cal at the October 25 check); only the Tajín-seasoned version is gone.
